Well we managed to get the H1N1, 1 day after our peds office got the vaccine and 4 days before we were scheduled to get it. I just hope we are all better before the holiday. We are scheduled to fly on Wed.

DD got sick Thur night and spiked a fever of 105 last night, but is doing better today. Yay princess stickers and book. Luckily no one else in the family is sick.

Sorry! Hope you all feel better soon. We have had a never-ending cold since the end of August, but have managed to avoid the flu so far (knock on wood!)

Ugh. Brutal timing. Although getting it the day before or the day of your flight would be worse I suppose. Hope you all are feeling well before the travel day!

Oh No! BUMMER! I'm sorry everyone got the flu... that sucks!

Just one thing to consider about flying. If your little one is congested at all I would HIGHLY suggest giving her a decongestant at least 20 mins before going up and if your flight is longer than say 4 hours, use something like saline nose drops before you land.

I had an ear drum burst mid flight (trans atlantic ... my poor mom) and had to see an ENT as a child (did the tubes and such). My ENT had my mom give me a squirt of afrin (not saying you should use this on your child but something to ease the inflammation) to help shrink the nasal passages and prevent problems with pressure from the flight! It's not a bad idea for adults either if you still have symptoms when you get on the plane yourself.

Hope everyone is feeling a lot better by the time you travel!
