I know it's been discussed a gazillion times and I know no one else can make this decision for me.
I just got a call from from my pedi office and they have a small shipment of vaccines. They are reserving them to families with infants < 6 months. Since I have a 3 month old they will give my 2 older kids and DH and I a vaccine.
Originally I planned to skip the vaccine (like I do every year with the flu vax). Then when we got sick (a month ago) I was sorry we never got vaxed. Then I thought, great! we were sick so we don't need the vax. Now I don't know because the kids and DH were sick but it wasn't confirmed H1N1 and it was such a nightmare keeping the baby away, i don't want to live through that again.
I know this fear from the vax is irrational, but I can't shake it. I believe it's as safe as they can do it (nothing is 100%) and I do not believe in the conspiracy theories. So why am I still reluctant???
