Just wanted to announce that my little girl was born a week ago. I can't believe a week has gone by already but time files when you're on a 2 hr feeding schedule! She's a minature version of me - extremely obvious copy of my baby photos but to me she looks more like my dad and makes all his expressions. She's teeny just 5.5 lbs - no idea how long she is the hospital forgot to record it at birth and they never told me after they remeasured her. She's sweet as can be and sleeps so much I have to keep an alarm set to remember to wake her up to feed her every 2 hrs - although she'd learning to do it herself. I adore her more everytime I look at her :love2: totally worth the 2+ year wait of TTC and being pregnant!

Congratulations Ashley! I love the name Kaylin. Can't wait to read all of your reviews on the baby stuff you've bought!:) Be sure to stock up on lots of the premie swaddler diapers from Pampers. DD was in those until she was just over 2 mos. old! DD was 5lbs 8 oz at a week old (6lbs 6 oz at birth), ate like crazy and was still a slow weight gainer.

Oh, I bet she's an adorable little peanut! My DD was 4 lbs, 3 ozs when she finally came home from the hospital. I loved those days. They're so very precious and grab everyone's attention because they look like little dolls. :)

Congrats on your new little girl, enjoy every minute...it goes so fast!

Congrats! You sound completely in love, which is a sweet reminder to me of those intense early days. Good and bad will come, but that love you feel now helps carry you through.
