I'd love to be in that guy's shoes right now (that's about what we owe on our place, maybe a little less). We have one of those crazy low down payment loans from 2005 that goes adjustable next June (well aware of that when we bought the house, and I used to do home loans so I knew what I was getting into), but even if our crummy mortgage company were to reduce our balance $80K so we could refi I'd be really happy, but that will never happen.
