I'm thinking I need to buy some iTunes to have more 'romantic' songs in my repertoire to help get me in the mood ;).
Other than some Sade, do you have any recommendations for artists/ groups and songs?

Thanks!

What if You by Joshua Radin is one of my favorites! I'll add more later when I go to the other computer w/ iTunes.

I'm sad that you said "other than Sade" because I can't think of a more favorite love song than By Your Side.

But let's see, there's also Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band, I like that one...How Deep is your Love by the Bee Gees (yes, I know, the Bee Gees)...Love Will Keep Us Alive by the Eagles...I'll have to think some more.

Actually, I said other than Sade because I like her songs and just wanted some additional ones (she's all I could think of).

:wink2:

Music for Lovers - John Coltrane

(Fun Fact? This was actually the dinner music at our wedding. No joke.)

And I Love Her - The Beatles
Grow Old (Along) With Me - John Lennon (Mary Chapin Carpenter's version is best; it was also our first dance song)
Mutineer - Warren Zevon (this was our last dance song)
Keep Me in Your Heart for a While - Warren Zevon
The Origin of Love - John Cameron Mitchell (from the 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' soundtrack)
Fire - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
If I Should Fall Behind - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

OK, so I'm not much of a "romantic" ... that's DH's job. And don't go mocking Warren. Warren was awesome and taken from us too soon. Cancer sucks.
