This came across from a friend of mine who has a son that is battling DIPG, a type of brain cancer. Children that are diagnosed with this usually are given 6-18 months to live. One of their friends has a little girl that also has it and unfortunately, it does not look like she will be with her family for much longer. This is what my friend has asked:

There's a little girl named Delaney Starcher who has the same brain tumor that Ethan has. She will probably die today after fighting this nasty cancer for over a year. Her mother wishes that on the day she dies her name is the most googled and yahooed search of the day.

Could you guys log onto both search engines, google and yahoo and type in her name and search it. Delaney Starcher

***Update*** Little Delaney hung on until until 8:33 this morning when she earned her wings. She was 5 years and 8 months old. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as her step-Father was also just diagnosed with Cancer.

Just searched for her on Google. Her name came up top of the list after typing in 'Dela'. I'll keep them in my prayers.

Just did a google search--"Delaney Starcher" is #3 on the Google list for the last hour.

ETA: The caringbridge website said " If anyone notices her name on the list of top 10 when they log in, can you print sreen and e-mail it." So I saved a PDF of the Googles Trend screen and e-mailed it to the mom. Hope that gives her a small bit of comfort...

Did you read that her s-dad just recently was also diagnosed with (a different) cancer? How much can one family take. P&PT for them.

Just did a google search--"Delaney Starcher" is #3 on the Google list for the last hour.

I've been sitting here for the last (almost) 2 hours searching it continuously. I am hoping that we are able to get this to the top for her mom. Anyone know how to see the updates on Yahoo? It has the top ten on the front page, but I don't think I've seen it change at all...

I'm not sure how to tell for sure, but when I go to google and put her name in, I then scroll to the bottom and see that it is now the #2 search for the hour...other than that, I don't know.

A big thank you to all that have helped. We are at #2 and have been there for quite some time. I have spent the last 7 hours almost non-stop googling it and hope that I have helped in some small way fulfill this last request...I am so sad for her and her family...they need all the P&PT that can be sent their way...Thanks again.
