Another card question - postcard?

Someone had posted recently about the 100 free postcards from VistaPrint. I think I want to do these for holiday cards. Would you think a postcard was weird???

I don't have a great pic of the girls (it's them running on the beach last weekend, can't see faces) so I feel ok about it not being in an envelope.

I got a postcard as a birth announcement and while it was really cute, it got kind of crumpled up in the mail (however I honestly think it's because the card stock wasn't thick enough!). I like the idea, and the setting of your DDs running on the beach is perfect for a post card.

Um, yah, that's just what I was going for! (How pathetic is it that this NEVER crossed my pea-sized mind?? I am so losing it. Once you said that, I realized it really is perfect!! :))
