My 5 year old turns 6 next Tuesday, and I haven't got him a birthday present yet, he always says ooo spin art when he sees one, I'm not sure how messy they are, does anyone have one? Thanks!

If you are talking about the Kid's Concoctions Spin Art machine, no, they dont' spin paint everywhere! They are actually pretty cool and don't make much of a mess. Ours get messy when the kids want to touch the paint (and then touch the table or their clothes). My kids have really enjoyed theirs.

I couldn't find this brand when I googled it. Where can it be found? I think this could be really fun!

Is there an online source you would recommend? DS and his friends LOVE spin art (...as does his Mamma....).

Thanks!

You know, we bought ours at Target about 5 years ago but now I can't find it on the Target website or anywhere else as "Kid Concoctions." However, this Magic Spin Art Rose Art spinner looks exactly like ours and looks like it includes the same accessories:

Thanks, Lisa, we live in an apartment, where he could do it in the kitchen, if it didn't go crazy. :) I'm thinking of getting this one:

Oh, that one looks really cool! They didn't have ones like that 5 years ago when we bought ours! We do ours in the kitchen too and the paint doesn't splatter unless you put your finger in it while it's spinning. But if you follow the directions, it stays right inside the machine.
