I personally am a fan of balance bikes, but this looked like a good deal i saw on SD:

I think this is a great deal!! Especially since the quality of radio flyer is normally really good. DS will be 2 in May... will he be able to use it by then??? I can't remember since DS#1 is 8 years old.

Note that it says it will ship in 3-5 weeks. :( I was totally going to get one for my DN for Christmas. Oh well...

Also, this bike has foam wheels unlike the rubber wheels most Radio Flyer products have.

Does foam wheels mean she can ride it indoors? I can just see my DD going around the house in this thing.

Just FYI...check out the reviews for the regular grow n go bike. Some people are saying this bike tips easily, which would not be good for the younger part of the age group for this bike or for smaller kids.

Most kids also don't pedal a trike independently until 2.5 or so. Some earlier, some later obviously. Just pointing that out for anyone considering this for the younger end of the age range. (eta: I realize this isn't a trike but just wanted to mention when kids learn to independently pedal (typically)).
