If you were coming to dinner would this be lame?

I have invited some people who work for me and their spouses (their wives). I am thinking of making meatloaf or lasagna. Is this a cop out? If not, which would you prefer?

Certainly not a copout, but I think I'd go with the lasagna. You could do a nice green salad and good crusty french bread. That's a dinner I'd love to be invited to!

Someone else cooking for me is never ever a cop-out! It sounds very nice! If you were going to make bologna sandwiches....that would be a cop-out :p

I've done cheese lasagna, green salad, garlic bread and a both meat and marinara sauce to cover preferences. Perfectly acceptable.
