This is a longshot but . . . does anyone know where I can find a divided or compartment dinner plate for adults? I am looking for ceramic or stoneware or similar, and I'd like a set of at least 4. I don't want melamine or plastic. I did find a white Corelle divided dinner plate, but its awfully boring. By way of explanation, DH hates his food touching, so when we have dinner he puts one food item on his plate at a time and has to go back to the kitchen 2 or 3 times depending on how many different food items we have for dinner. TIA!

Go to amazon and search fondue plate
I found this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015XQD2A/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000M55Q0W&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0YZA0PDG4T129G257G9Y
Which I thought was sort of cool. There are a bunch of others.

I think the corelle is the way to go if you want several

hmmm, i was going to suggest the Corelle one (i found one at a second hand store that we use for DD2).

My dad is like your DH and my mom always puts out little bowls for vegetables and foods that tend to encroach upon others on the plate.

Thank you for your help! I've learned that another name for a divided plate is a "grill plate." There seem to be antique ones available, but not many new ones. I did like the ceramic tv tray idea though. Here is what I settled on:

Yay! DH gets a Christmas present!

Here's another fun idea: how about bento trays or bento boxes:

We also use something called Laptop lunchbox for DD's food when she has to eat breakfast at preschool.

ETA: Sorry I didn't read the part about not wanting plastic. Oops!
