help me identify a style of bag?

but with a long strap. What on earth is this style of bag called?

I've always called cross-body bags a "Messenger bag". Not sure if that is correct.

I think of a messenger bag as more like a briefcase with a cross-body strap (courier bag?)....

these are more like a bucket?
