View Full Version : Extra long french country tablecloth?
I am looking for a classic french country tablecloth for my mom for Christmas. Dimensions of the table are 39" by 108", so it needs to be pretty long. Any ideas? I have done some web surfing and found one place but it was a bit too pricey for my budget. I'd like to spend under $100 for sure, and even better if it was under $75.

I'm not too sure what a french country tablecloth is, but Williams Sonoma has Provence tablecloths (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/shop/tabletop/table-linens/tbllintcl/?cm_type=lnav). The 70" by 108" ones are $49.00.

Good luck! Our dining room table unfolds to 100 inches long and it is REALLY hard finding a cloth for it. You need one that is at least 120 inches long and they are really hard to find.

It looks like WS has one that is 120 long.

I had a Provence tablecloth from them and it was beautiful.

Maybe Pierre Deux? Or Sur la Table?
Do you have a Home Goods? I've found some gorgeous, inexpensive tablecloths there ($15-$30, often for designer brands); I have to buy the 60x120" size for our table. If you don't have Home Goods, you might try TJ Maxx (which owns Home Goods).

They're not French Country in style, but I have a few 60X120's from Target that are very nice-- one is cream, the other is tan. They're very plain...just hemstitched, but maybe you could find some French Country napkins/accessories to jazz things up?
Maybe Pierre Deux? Or Sur la Table?
I looked at Pierre Deux, but the ones I liked were $225 and $250. I will look at sur la table - thanks!

I have that on my list - there are a couple of others that are pretty, too. Ideally I think I'd like even longer than 126", to have a better overhang, but this may be my best bet!
Thanks everyone else for your replies!

Are you anywhere near a La Cache/April Cornell store? I know I've seen a few in the US, but I don't know how widespread they are down there. Nearly all their linens are Provence-style.
