favorite small digital camera for adults?

We have an SLR as well as a small Canon digital camera that is dying. We're trying to decide whether to just buy the newest version of our Canon ELPH or something else. We like having a camera w/video capability that fits on our pocket when we don't want to lug the SLR around. Ideas?

I have the Canon SD790 which is very similar to the SD780 PP mentioned. I think the difference is that the one I have has more manual settings. I think....I could be wrong. But I love mine! (And the Canon SD200 I had before it!)

I am also a Canon shooter but got a Nikon Coolpix last year and it's a great pocket camera. We use it for video all the time and the picture quality is great.
