Just found this on Slick Deals:
You can use your unused delta skymiles to purchase gift cards. For every 5000 miles buy a gift card valued at $50 (includes shipping, handling/ any applicable tax). https://marketplace.delta.com/ (http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=1729924&u2=https://marketplace.delta.com/)

I had 9,740 miles so I bought 2 $50 Lands End gift cards and it only cost me $2.76 to make up the different in cash for the 260 miles I was short. :boogie:
I don't plan on taking any family vacations for a while and have some business trips lined up for next year so I don't mind turning in the miles right now. BTW, you need to make sure you have your Skymiles & PIN numbers handy...I almost locked myself out with the wrong PIN.

Really, eBay?

I have about 35K Worldperks and about as many on Contintental...whatever it is now, OnePass? We're more at a driving stage now that we're in the two carseat years (hate hauling those things!), eBay is tempting!

Wow, I never thought to sell miles on ebay. You can also convert miles into gift cards at www.points.com.

i don't think its necessarily "legal". what you are selling is your time to list such an item and the miles are free. you can probably check it out if you do a search on ebay. i'm sure there are people out there selling now!
