Gifts for the South Pole?

Anyone been on a cruise to Antarctica? My in-laws have one coming up and are IMPOSSIBLE to shop for. DH and I were thinking of silk long underwear for their trip. Nothing more brilliant than that. We know that they receive a parka as part of the cruise package. TIA for any suggestions.
