Hi All:

If you do not carry your Britax MA on the airplane and gate check it -- do I need a special bag for it? I seem to recall someone mentioning using a LL Bean tote in the past -- but of course can't find the thread.

Thanks!
Alison

We use this bag to check our MA:

http://www.amazon.com/SafeFit-Car-Seat-Travel-Tote/dp/B001DF7LGW/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1260378888&sr=8-6

It's definitely a snug fit (e.g. have to wrestle with it a bit to get it in the bag), but it does work. I will say it's not the most durable fabric (we definitely have some small holes/tears in it), but it gets the job done for us, and we have used it on at least 5 or so flights.

HTH!

We've had the Wheelie bags (bottoms broke) and upgraded to the JL Childress Ultimate bags (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4698052) for our Marathons and Radians. We love that they're really padded, have convenient, padded backpack straps, and can fit more stuff than just the seat (think- extra pack of diapers, breast pump, shoes, toiletry kits, winter coats, purchases from your destination.) We really liked the backpack idea because when we just had the wheelies, we didn't have enough hands. Double stroller (or two singles), plus 2-3 suitcases, carryon, etc. We just didn't have enough hands!
