Need commonly known songs for Kdgt/1st/2nd grade

We are doing a karaoke celebration at my school and I need to find songs that most kids would know the words too. We are doing it separately for Kdgt, 1st and 2nd, so if you have songs suggestions for any of those grade levels, I would appreciate it! Some co-workers recommended Hannah Montana and Jonas Bros, but I don't know they lyrics to any of them and want to make sure there is nothing inappropriate.

Can the teachers create some kind of poll to find out favorite artists? I can't help much even though I teach 1st grade; the songs our kids know and sing regularly at school are often religious (parochial school). I have done many activities though where kids have to journal about their 3 favorite songs to sing, etc.

ETA- It is so cool to hear kids sing along to songs. We were in an all school activity the other day and the kids all started singing along to one of the songs very spontaneously. It was awesome!
