Pic of the dress you helped me find for our black tie event

Thought I'd post a pic of hubby and I from our hospital fundraiser last weekend. We had a blast! I was originally thinking of attending alone, if DH had not been able to get his call covered. I think I would have had a fine time without him, but I am very glad we were able to go together. I went with one of the ebay dresses, and all together - I found a pair of shoes, jewelry (bracelet, earring, and a gold bangle bracelet), and a soft wrap that matched the waist tie nearly perfectly - I spent around $100!!! I was ecstatic! That was less than DH's tux! Laura Bush was the keynote speaker and she was incredible. It was very surreal to be in the same room, less than 100 feet from someone as famous as her. I've never had that experience before. She was very humble, yet charming and funny. While I would not want to do things like this on a regular basis, it WAS fun to get all doled up and spend an evening among other intelligent adults. Even though it was not my husband's hospital, it was for the local community hospital where we live. Several of our neighbors attended, and we found we knew a lot more people that we thought we would. Our table mates were a lot of fun too. I could not have asked for a nicer evening. My girls, when they saw me try the dress on for the first time, exclaimed, "A real LIVE princess! Mommy is a princess!" My aunt offered to help do my hair and make-up (which I NEVER wear IRL), and I did feel like a princess. I am usually critical of my appearance (and I don't think the pictures are THAT flattering), but I felt very grown up and elegant. Thanks so much for all your input and advice!

You guys are so kind...way to inflate my ego!! BTW, I am 33 (though I feel MUCH older - and my grey roots and crow's feet age me too)...I had my 5 kids in a 6 year span. DS is just 6 1/2, and the youngest is 15 mos. I spent all last summer losing 50+ pounds of baby weight by training for a triathlon. I did compete in several, and still make it to the gym at least 2-3 times a week to maintain some sort of fitness for the winter. I
