I made a nice hardcover one last year for parents and us. A few pages for each month. Lots and lots of text on the side to describe the year's events. I had a bogo code and it was around $50. I just finished one for MIL - but it has very little text - just a few lines per page. I did it at Shutterfly. It was softcover. And cheap!! With coupons, I think I paid $20 total for 3 copies (1 for MIL, one for her to send to DH's family in the Czech Republic, and a spare). I really wasn't super impressed with the overall quality. The photos looked like they had been copied on a bad color copier, and it just had a cheap feel to it. It WAS cheap, and honestly it served its purpose, but I'd realy like to find a nicer one for us and my parents. Though I don't want to spend over $50 total for both if I can. Any suggestions?

Photoworks is offering buy one get one free on their picture books. I think they run between $35-$50 each so that would be in your range with the BOGO!
