We are trying to decide on a doll for DD 18mos. I am looking at the Corolle dolls, Water babies, what do people recommend? TIA What's so great about corolle?

If you search here for Corolle you will find lots of conversations. My favorite thing is washability, and I do think they are very well made. The Calin dolls are a very nice size and weight for little ones, IMO. $15 is a great price!

We just bought the Corolle Calin doll for DD2(almost a year) for Christmas. I only took it out of the box for a second but it seems like it is the perfect size for a child that age.

I'm not sure what is so great about Corolle, except that they seem to really hold up. DD1 has one of the dolls for older girls (she got it when she was 3 but the name of it escapes me) and it still looks brand new.

What is so great about the corolle is their faces are so sweet. DD has a corelle calin and a madame alexander huggums and hands down she prefers the corolle (fwiw I bought the MA and MIL bought the Corolle, I hate to admit she knew more than me on this one;)) I ordered the tidoo for christmas for the bathtub. I have been eyeing it for awhile but at $15 I couldn't pass it up.
