I would like to get a changing table for our room for the new baby. I'm not really too concerned with looks but would like something that is stable. Any recommendations? TIA

I got this one from Ikea for downstairs. It holds a ton underneath and super stable. Very easy to clean too!

Looks like the price is down to only $39.99 now. Hope you have an Ikea next to you so maybe you can check it out.

there's that one, there's also the Gulliver one that's slightly more ($79.99, in white) that's a tad fancier-looking and has more shelf space:

I had the cheaper IKEA one and honestly I didn't changer her on it one single time! I would just take the mat off and use it on the bed, on the floor, on the sofa. Anywhere but the changing table!

My mom got this blue nylon sling style changing table at IKEA years ago. It's been fabulous. Looks like there are other good IKEA options too.

I used the bassinet portion of ds2's Pack N Play for diaper changes.

I had a changing table for baby #1. For baby #2, I just used the top of a dresser with a changing table mat. For baby #3, I just use the mat on top of the bed or on the floor for diaper changes. FWIW, if I could do it all over again, I'd just skip the changing table all together and just use the mat like I am doing now. It is a nicer mat with wedges on the sides, so the baby won't roll away on you, lol. When I'm not using it, I just prop it up against the wall and since it's padded, it doesn't scratch anything or bang around.

The one I have looks like this, and you can fold it in half for storage, but I keep a cover on it (the one I got came with a terry cloth cover), so I don't fold it in half for storage), so don't bother folding it in half...

We bought a basic Jenny Lind style one at a rummage sale for maybe $30. I would be very surprised if it's not this one. It works well, and is a good height too! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3381208
