We have this and it's a very cute toy for babies. As easy to hold as an O-ball and more interesting. I can't remember how much I pd. I think I got it through the Babycenter closeout for a similar price.

I watched the video, and I may have to get this one. Looks like the balls can fly out if you open the doors. This would be good toy for my almost 4 yo DD and 9 mo DS to play with together. She can chase the balls around, just like on the video. :)

As long as you're not the one who ends up chasing the balls around :ROTFLMAO: That's what ends up happening sometimes with our Playskool ball popper.

Laugh & Learn Puppy is still a fave for my 2 yr old and that's a great price---my mother paid twice that for it this year for my niece. Same w/ the corn popper.

Considering the Melody Push Chime since it's so cheap - but do you think an almost 20 month old would still get use out of it?

Yes, my DD is almost 20 months and loves to push/pull things around.

I'll add to the recommendation that the gears are a great toy. It was one of those things I looked at and said, uuugh, that'll be good for 5 minutes and then annoying for the rest of it's lifespan. Yes, the music is pretty incessantly annoying, BUT it had LOTS of play value. DS LOVED it starting around 9 months and he'll still play with it if he sees it at 2.5.

Yes, this! I got that toy for $2 from a lady on CL with a bunch of Gymbo clothes a few years ago. I know she got rid of it b/c the pieces can litter the floor, but DUDE, they LOVE it! Every kid who comes over loves it too.
I want that chime toy. Does it annoy anyone? We'll need something new for DS2 for his b'day.

OK, about the gears toy, do you really think it'll be fun for a while for a 20 month old - as in, she won't get bored of it in a month? I know DD likes it when she has seen it at a friends house, but I'm wondering if that's just the novelty and whether she'll outgrow it quickly?

I resisted getting it last night when I finally pushed the button on the chime push thing, M&D cake and food last night... but of course, with Prime, I could get it today. OMG I am spending SO much money!
