I need a b'day present for a 2 yr old girl. Her mom really likes personalized stuff (this is DD #2) I already got her a personalized bath wrap for Christmas. I was thinking maybe a wooden name puzzle that spells her name? Or is that too young for a 2 yr old?

Any unique ideas? Her mom likes practical, unusual, or personalized gifts

Not sure of your price range but PBK seems to have a big selection of personalized things. For a 2yo I would think the puffy tea set, baby doll carrier, jewelry box (can hold play jewelry now, real later), or terry travel bag would be good ideas? ETA or preschool backpack/lunchbag.

DD got one of those wooden personalized stools - 2 is about the right age I think. They are nice!

DD also has a personalized growth chart, it looks really nice hanging in her room. DD actually got it for her 2nd birthday.

Practical? A set of nesting blocks. My 2 year old loves stacking these and looking at the pictures. We have two sets but she usually grabs the Baby Einstein ones seen here http://www.amazon.com/Nature-Nesting-Blocks-Disney-Einstein/dp/1423114523

Unique? A crochet hat with a big flower. Gosh..these are SO darn cute http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_query=baby+hat+crochet+f lower&filter[0]=handmade&filter[1]=children&filter[2]=toddler

Personal? Vinyl wall art. TONS of ideas here. http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=handmade&search_query=vinyl+wall+art&page=1

Or a personalized CD?

Brainy Baby recently had 55% off but they're usually around $20. We have a Wiggles one and a Mickey one for DS and a Sesame Street/Elmo one for DD.

Or a personalized book? We have a few of those too. I've always liked personalized stuff myself and DS has a somewhat unusual name that we're probably never going to find on the store rack!
