I knew this day would come. DS, 2 1/2year old, has figured out how to climb out of the crib. So, now he sleeps on a big boy twin bed in his room. My problem is he wakes up in the middle of the night and cries for mommy or daddy. If we don't go to him, he opens his bedroom door and runs to our bedroom. He not only wakes us up, he wakes up the baby too.
how do I get him to stay in bed even when he wakes in the middle of the night? I tried putting a gate up at his bedroom door but he just climbs over it.
I was watching supernanny... her technique is to keep putting him back into his bed, over and over again, until he finally stays there.
any suggestions?
