my son left a blue crayon in his pants pocket and it went through the wash and dry. the crayon melted all over our clothes. I washed it another time in hot wash but still see remnants. Any hints for salvaging my clothes?

TIA!

Lol - we did that a couple days ago with an orange crayon! It hasn't come out yet, but I haven't tried all that hard since it was mostly the girls' play clothes.

So, I am eager to hear the responses!

The best way to get it out of the dryer is to run a wet (old) towel for a while then rub it all off while it's hot and steamy. You will have to do it a couple of times.

There are lots of concoctions listed online to get it out of the clothes but honestly we never managed to get all of it. We've had this 3 separate times now, once in a communal basement laundry which was probably the worst! I'd say it's probably the main reason we wash her clothes separately to ours.
