Lands End has this one in stock in black in all sizes - I have had it for several years and it's great. It looks super long in the pic but it only comes to just below my knees (I'm almost 5'7") and is very comfortable to walk in (and have I mentioned warm??).

Here is a 3/4 length LE one:

looks like they are in stock but once you add to cart, out of stock, at least for the navy, i really wanted black but navy would be acceptable. thanks for trying.

I just found this coat on clearance at Burlington Coat Factory for $35.99. I've been debating it b/c it doesn't have a hood and I think I really need one. But if that doesn't bother you, the coat may work. It seemed quite warm. YMMV with Burlington but Macy's has it too (though more expensive): http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=395359&CategoryID=49275&LinkLoc=118&LinkType=SiteAd&AdID=510227

What about this Guess hooded puffer coat from Nordstrom.com:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3058578?Category=&Search=True&SearchType=keywordsearch&keyword=guess+coat&origin=searchresults ?

I wanted to get this for myself, but I already splurged on the Mackage Nev :bag:innocent:

It shows they only have Large & X-large on the site in the Black right now, but I'd have customer service check the stores if that's not your size. You can't beat $99 for a Guess puffy coat!
