Quick! Help Me Salvage These Cookies!

Just goes to show that when you try to do two things at once, you do them both poorly..

I make Betty Crocker's chocolate muddies (cookies) every year for Christmas, and everyone *loves* them. However, I put in 1 cup of butter instead of 3/4 cup of butter. Is this going to really screw them up? Can I fix this? The batter's all ready to be put onto cookie sheets.. argh. Help? Please?

I'm guessing they are already in the oven at this point, but if not, they may very well be fine the way you have them. I'd be concerned about them getting a bit melty, and might refrigerate them for a bit if you have time.

they may be more melty than normal but they should be OK
