It has recently gotten very cold where we live and I've noticed that DD's hair has become extremely staticy. So much that it is either standing on end or is stuck to her head causing her to look like she is wearing a mullet style.

How do I make this stop? My DD looks terrible!

I bought some Kiss My Face detangler for DD and it seems to take care of most of the fly-aways. It smells like orange tea...yummy! Not sure how you feel about this suggestion....but we used to spray our hairbrushes (just a little) with hairspray to get rid of static when we brushed.

Hate that! My hair does the same thing.

Rub a dryer sheet on her head, I don't know why it works but it does.

Dip a brush in water and shake it out before combing her hair. It will cut the static immediately, and I'd look for a static-resistant styling product or conditioner to help too.

Gently skimming the head with a baby wipe also works to get rid of static. Learned that one at a photography studio.

This is exactly what I do for my hair and for my daughter's hair.

Thank you for the suggestions! Will definitely be giving them a try. No more mullet baby hopefully!
