So I have a conference trip in February in San Antonio and DH and I are going to turn it into a much-needed mini vacation (we'll drop off DS with the in-laws on our way--they live near San Antonio). I'll be busy with the conference most of the day time, but DH and I should have Thurs and Fri evening to spend. We're staying near Market Square, and we won't be renting a car or anything. We don't have a ton of money or time to spend, but we'd like to do at least one nice restaurant dinner and maybe catch a movie or concert or something. So any good restaurant recommendations (we definitely want to take advantage of the fact that DS won't be with us--no family friendly restaurants, please!)? Also, is the Riverwalk A) worth it, and B) walking distance from Market Square? Any other tips or suggestions? This will be our first time away from DS overnight, my first trip to San Antonio, and my first Food Studies conference, and I'm SOOOOO excited!!! :yay:
