Red Soled Black Pumps

I'm on a misson to find myself some gorgeous black pumps with red soles. Something pretty close to the Christian Louboutan heels (http://www.debutanteclothing.com/news/images/Christian-Louboutin-shoes-Declic.gif)...maybe even a peep toe style. Anyone know of where to find some awesome, yet less outrageously expensive pairs?

I think red soles are the Louboutin trademark; not sure if there's a bargain version. The legend has it, the whole thing got started when CL used his secretary's red nail polish to paint the sole of one pair of shoes. So maybe find a pair of heels you like and do the same? ;)

I've seen an inexpensive version before but I can't remember the brand. I was thinking Naturalizer but didn't see anything similar on their site.

I was going to suggest Paris Hilton. I think Forever 21 has also done some Louboutin knock-offs with the red sole.

I was planning on wearing them around the track while pushing the dualie and dragging along my gereatric dog. ;)

But really, I suddenly turned a (bad) coner a few months ago and am quickly becoming a shoe fanatic. I wanted these for my 10-year HS reunion. Maybe I'll try taking in my own pair of black heels to a shoe re-soler, and having them done in red...
