We have this bed from IKEA.

It's low (only the top mattress, no box spring). I need a petite kid friendly bedside table. Any recommendations?

I don't know what style you are going for in that bedroom but would this work?

We bought it in the summer but it is still available. Your kiddos are almost the same age as my DD but it does change to three different sizes to accommodate little ones. It is very inexpensive and well made for the price. Even DH who was skeptical at the price tag commented with was heavy and well constructed when he was assembling it. (He was of the school that you buy children good expensive furniture that they grow into).

I liked that we never needed a rail because of the raised parts on the sides and if she had fallen out (which she never did) it's a small distance to the floor.

Cute bed!!! DS has this one from Target and it's the perfect size. http://www.target.com/Kids-Side-Table-Red/dp/B001OVI3EY/sr=1-2/qid=1262700928/ref=sr_1_2/177-1900035-9269831?ie=UTF8&search-alias=tgt-index&frombrowse=0&index=target&rh=k%3Aside%20table&page=1

The store carries a bunch of colors, pink, light green, navy, red and white I think. I found his on clearance half price.

I don't see it on the site, what is it called?

I like this one --and the similar one from the COmpany Store that Sarah posted. I just worry it will be too tall. I am going to head out to target today and see how feasible it might be for DH to cut off the legs.

Here it is: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S39827962

It's very cute. How is it "extendable"? Width? I need a queen bedframe for my dd's bed and something like this would be perfect.

It's the Minnen collection. Sometimes their website is so hard to find anything specific--they seem to tunnel you into certain items.

I just measured it and it's about 26" tall. DS's bed is a lower one from Target with no box spring and it works great.

We have this one in green next to DD's bed:

http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=47262&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&from=SR&feat=sr

and are very happy with it. But this one might look better with your DD's bed:

http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=47262&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&from=SR&feat=sr

They have some other small tables but I think they are too tall. Since you want something short, I would look at benches and bookcases, too.

What about something from Ikea?

I just thought of this one too. DD has the matching vanity and it's really cute. I remember reading reviews of this a while back and people saying it's small so could be what you're looking for.
