DH's car remote is broken at the place where it attaches to a key (the little plastic circle part broke off and is long gone). The key and remote are otherwise fine, but there is no way to attach the two together which is a pain. Any way anyone here can think to fix it?

I still had the broken piece, so I was able to carefully glue it back together. The next time it breaks I'll be buying a replacement online.

Looking at that link just reminded me of the little Purell holders. Depending on the size of the remote, maybe that would be a really cheap solution!

You might be able to put a keyring through the hole and snip off the long loop handle.

thank you for the suggestions! I had no idea this happened to other people; I hope that woman that invented clicker slickers makes some good money because that was a very clever idea.
