Should I refrigerate apple pie if it won't be served for 24 hours?

I am thinking of making this recipe this afternoon for a family gathering tomorrow night.

Do you think it needs to be refrigerated? Is it just a bad idea and should I make something else or wait till tomorrow to make it? I'd rather do it this afternoon, because I will be busy doing other things tomorrow.

I don't see anything in the recipe that would give it a reason to need to be refrigerated at all. I never fridge my apple pie.
