My dd is currently riding in her Britax Marathon. She will need to move to a full time Booster soon. In my dh we have the Recaro vivo (I think that is what it is called), but she hardly ever rides in that car. So, to replace the Marathon, what is the safest booster? She is about 44" and 46#. We have a Subaru Tribeca if that matters... Cost doesn't really matter within reason (Like $250 or less) Thanks!

Sunshine Kids Monterey or the new Britax Parkway. If you can find a local store that sells both, see how they fit your kiddo and how they sit in your vehicle!

Yup, both great (the ones Tondi mentioned). If she loves her Vivo, another one of those is great, too, nothing wrong with two of the same seat :)

How about the new cleck oobr, haven't really seen any more discussion on it? Worth it or better to go with one of those mentioned above already? Thanks! Oh, I should add: How about a backless booster for the occasional carpooling? Are there any that are better than others? Thanks again!!

Oh, well, the Oobr's loverly, indeed, here's a fabulous review comparing it to the PWSG and Monterey... http://carseatblog.com/?p=4741
Backless... a Graco Turbo's fine, but the Cosco Ambassador/High Rise/Auto Booster is usually cheaper and a bit lighter. Evenflo Amp has a super cool look, I really like it. Harmony LiteRider is super light and small, and Combi Dakota is, in my kids' opinion, the plushest and comfiest of them all! http://carseatblog.com/?p=2171
