Hi,
We use the Avent sterilizer and have been using it since DD was born for her glass bottles. Can it also be used for plastic bottles?
Thanks!

check the website? I assume so. Personally I just use the dishwasher.

yes, but there is no reason to sterilize bottles. Unless you have a preemie with immune system issues and your doctor requires it, but that would be rare.

I boiled them when I first opened them, but just that one time.

You can do it if you want to, but it's not really necessary on a regular basis. I used to do it whenever DS got sick to kill any germs that might be left over.

i use the microwave sterilizer for plastic bottles only if they are labelled BPA free. i would NOT use it for plastic bottles for which the BPA content is questionable. (sigh, the nanny didn't realize this and put all of my 8 month old's plastic non-BPA-free spoons in there, though...)
