ski pants

I'm not a big skiier, but DH is. We are going to VT for a ski getaway and I need recs for ski pants. I don't ski often ao I don't want to spend a load of money. Any recomendations?

I got a nice pair at overstock last year. They were marker brand and were about $50. Worked great for me! Also the sporting goods stores usually have a store brand that is fine too and very reasonable. Just make sure they are waterproof!

You probably want to be super-warm though, right? I looooooove my Burton "Toast" snowboard pants, but they are several years old. Maybe some used ones on CL or ebay?

Columbia makes good, moderately priced ski clothing. I have had my pants for 10 years--I love them.

www.sierratradingpost.com has really good deals on brand name stuff so you can get something decent without spending a ton.
