chicken soup in crock pot..........

Do I need to do anything different?

The receipe I have is for cooking it on the stove.............

I'm going to use pre-cooked chicken and frozen veggies.......do I put the noodles in uncooked or cooked?


anyone add a can of diced tomatoes? My receipe calls for that, but it sounds a little strange to me.

Wait to put the noodles in. Last time I made chicken soup in the crock pot, I put the noodles in at the beginning with everything else and they ended up disintergrating.

I don't know about putting noodles in the crock pot. I might just cook them separately on the stove top and putting them in bowls and topping with the soup.

I've actually never done chicken soup in the crock pot.... only stew and vegi soup!

I'd do that ... 1/2 an hour before serving & add noodles.

Also, you might want to adjust the amount of liquid down a bit because you don't get the evaporation like you do on the stovetop.
