Is this Growing Pains??

Last night while DS was doing his homework (coloring), he suddenly started crying. Crying and moaning, because his feet hurt so badly. He was only wearing socks at the time. I took the socks off, and his skin looked fine (no cuts or bug bites). He couldn't really point to a spot that hurt the most; just the whole foot. It was near bed time, so I got everyone in bed. He went to sleep, but then woke up crying about an hour later; again, because his feet hurt. I gave him Tylenol, and he slept the rest of the night. This morning, he was fine (but I didn't ask him about his feet). DH thinks this is growing pains, but I have no idea.

DS is 6.5 yo.

sounds like the growing pains my DS has regularly. Usually in the evening or the middle of the night. Motrin or Tylenol always makes them go away, and some massage usually helps to calm him down and help him sleep. It usually happens after a day with lots of running.
