I bought them at half price today and I think I like them. I guess I'm a little insecure about the really pointy toe. WDYT?

I like the style...but the faux leather looks really faux in the pic. Is it that obvious IRL?

Yeah, I see what you mean. I don't think they are as pleather-y looking IRL, definitely not as shiny.

I think I will keep them....along with the purple converse I found! Tons of shoes on clearance today at Target. Thanks guys.

I'm horribly unstylish, and the old part of me says that they'll cause foot and back problems.

Totally. If only I could wear such a thing. Between the heel and the pointyish toe, I'd be doomed. I do admire, tho ...

Yeah....I will probably only wear them for a very short time. I'm not good at the heels either...

Practice indoors. Be aware of your posture, so that you're making a straight line from your shoulder to your heel so your weight is being held at your heel rather than towards your toe, and walk with smaller steps until you feel stable. Really, it's a gait and carriage thing and not a heel thing.

Honestly, the heel's not so bad ... but, then again, I am 5'8" with a penchant for 3" heels! (Not since the belly popped, though. Now the highest heel I wear is 1.5" and only if I'm wearing support hose!)

BTW, the pointy toe will actually help to elongate your leg, so you'll look leaner and more chic.

Very cool. I like them.

Having said that, I can't wear anything of the sort either. Too many years dancing and wearing such shoes have given me too much (fear? wisdom? I dunno.) to wear something like these.

But have fun wearing them!
