Favorite Current Graco SafeSeat/Snugride Pattern

DH crashed his car last week with DD in the back. The car insurance is replacing our safeseat. I get to buy any seat I want and I want another safeseat/snugride. Currently I have 2 covers - Jenny (pink) and Fusion (blue) and the insurance is letting me keep the cover from my crashed seat. My stroller is a Fushion graco mosaic.

Of all the covers currently available as a seat only - not travel system - which would you choose?

I don't care about the 30/35 max weight limit difference because I don't plan to use it to the max weight limit so we're debating cover choice.

I like the Racer cover...well, I like it better than the Lemongrass, anyway. Those are the only two I ever see at BRU to comment on, lol. Good luck choosing!

Do the covers fit the different models exactly?

Safeseat 1, Snugride 32, Snugride 35, and Teutonia T-Tario 32 all have the same covers. Plain little Snugride is all alone, she can't share clothes with any of them <sniff>.

I like the Graco 35 Lily pattern, but not sure when it's available. I think it's available now on some sites though:

I would also choose the SnugRide35 in 'Flint' -- the cover seems really plush and would go with both your pink and blue stuff. Glad everyone's okay!

I wonder if geico would allow me to get a teutonia. They have some amazing covers but somehow I think they may not agree that its a fair trade. I'll call the adjustor monday and see if I'm limited to a similar dollar value - he just said to pick a seat and they'll cut a check.

I have a Snugrie 32 in Zurich (brown and green). I love it and I get compliments all the time.

Okay, silly question can you buy covers/canopies for Graco seats separately? Please say yes?! This would be awesome because I don't like my safari print cover that came with my seat, and replacing the cover would be cheaper than buying a whole new infant seat; I'd even deal with the back adjusters if I could just get a new cover! (I have a SR 22):praying:

I like the Flint, and Racer covers. I like most of the Teutonia covers I have seen online, but have never seen one in person.

Try it. When I was in an accident a couple of months ago the State Farm claims adjuster just said to get a comparable seat. He didn't even ask me what brand of seat I would be replacing. Honestly though if you like the Teutonia covers better and even if you don't get the fully reimbursed because the seat was over the limit I still think you'd get a good deal on a great seat!

Yes you can. I just bought a cover to replace the pink cherry blossom one I had for my Snugride 22, since we're now having a boy. I just replaced the cover and you have to unscrew the handles and getting the canopy cover off was a bit tricky, but I was able to do it and the seat looks good (Zarafa brown & orange giraffe print).

You can contact Graco and they will send you a list of compatible replacement covers and the link to order them. I think it was about $40.

Check ebay for replacement covers! I scored a Jenny cover from a SS1 on ebay for less than Graco wanted for it.

I'm going to see about getting the black/pink floral t-32 seat. Super cute. They are compatible with graco strollers right? I was all excited about getting a matching stroller until I saw the price tag!

Yeah, T-32s are the same dimensions as the Graco SS1/SR32/SR35

We just got the Flint pattern (Snugride 35), and we love it! It's very gender-neutral, looks great with our stroller/car seat adapter, and soo plush! The new infant insert looks like it'll work really well, too- no need for additional snuzzlers! :)
