Um, what strap are you talking about? I'm confused.

its the part you snap the buckles into, most carseats arent adj. but i have seen a few that are and i was wondering if that becomes an issue when they get alittle older. i have a britax roundabout and a radian(not sure which model) and it seems like the center strap is really tight.

I find it easier to buckle if there's more space there behind the crotch strap... the Radian can be adjusted, have you moved it out yet? The Roundabout can't be, but it has a very generous amount of room already. On the flip side, some are adjustable, but it barely helps, the Nautilus goes from tightest to tighter, and so does the True Fit. Most kids don't mind, so it's no biggie, but if you want lots of room (think: husky boys over age 4) it's something to consider.
