:yeahthat: please take some off the top of the 8 ft. snowdrifts next to our driveway. the forcasters just said it would take well into the spring for everything to melt.

I've had more snow this winter than I've probably had for my whole life total. I am DONE with it. Bring on the 100 degree days!!!!

Also in GA, and watching the snow out my window at work....while I understand how frustrating it is for people who had truly massive snow during the past couple weeks, it is fun for us down south to see an inch or two!

I was almost not gonna say anything this morning since I'm sure a large portion of you are sick of the snow by now...but it NEVER SNOWS HERE IN LOWER ALABAMA!!! It's like the odds of it snowing in SoCal. I've never been more excited to bundle up in snow gear in my life! We don't have any sleds, but empty laundry baskets will do!

In MS, it just stopped here. We got about 4 inches in Jackson but further south got a good bit more. It's the most snow we've seen in more than 20 years. DD1 was up at 6 am wanting to make a snowman. We had to make her wait until DD2 woke up. Here is their handiwork (DH may have helped just a little bit- he was as excited as they were).

FIL said he saw online that 49 states got snow today with the exception of Hawaii.

This is the most snow I ever remember seeing down south. Tomorrow morning we are going to have FUN. And I wish I hadn't lent my really warm coat to my sister.

I heard on NPR that someone is trying to get pics of snow on the ground in all 50 states today. I guess the tops of some HI mountains got snow a few weeks ago and they think in the shade there might still be some.

We ended up with about 3-4 inches and its still snowing a little...

Went out and played and built a snowman...Tomorrow we will try and sled a little bit down our hill..

I love snow and cold...DH thinks I am crazy, but he is a born and raised Georgia boy and I grew up in the north...

I would love for my boys to experience snowmobiling, ice fishing and ice skating...

We got almost 12 inches here in TX yesterday!

I heard it broke a 100 year record or something like that. My parents left a few days ago from visiting us where there is snow back to Ft. Worth for more snow...crazy! All my friends in DFW were able to make snowmen with their kids. Must be exciting for the little ones.
