if i'm gonna have to spend $650 (amazon's lowest price w/ no tax and free shipping) on a new grill i want to feel like i got a good deal.:) anyone have any bright ideas on how i can save some money since theses grills are rarely discounted?

We got a previous year model for over $100 off AND assembled b/c it was a floor model.

The best deals on grills are at the end of the season when they go on clearance. We got a Weber grill for a steal--$75 on clearance at Target. I think I got it in Sept, though. But if you can wait until then, you can get a get a great deal!

Weber grills are like apple products --- the prices are set more or less.

Unless you find one on clearance. I bought mine online with free shipping. I went with an all stainless Genesis and love it so far.

Hard to come by deals on those. If you are getting a gas grill, your natural gas provider may provide some kind of a rebate.
