Is the Recaro Vivo on backorder everywhere?

I've checked several websites and most say not available or on back order. I'm debating between this and the HBTB for DS to start booster training occasionally for use with grandpa's car. Of course, DS wants it in red. Anyone have any info?

I've run into the same thing. It's on jcpenny.com right now, but it says it won't ship for 3 weeks from the manufacturer. On Recaro's web site, it's even out of stock, but it says there that it will be available in early February.

If I get anything except red DS will go ballistic. I hope those are in stock soon somewhere. I could care less about the color. I'm attempting to make DS feel good about starting booster training. I looked on JCPenny but could not figure out how to choose the red one. I only got a choice of one color.

Ugh. What a pain (I couldn't find any in stock, either :( )
Chicco Strada and Maxi Cosi XR are nice and red, but holy cow, those are expensive!
