I counted 12 in ours. Family of four and the girls bath in our bathtub.

shampoo, conditioner, girls' shampoo, girls' cleanser, two of my face cleansers, one body cleanser for me, a body scrub, a bottle of tea tree oil, and i think that is it (or that is all i remember). oh, i knew i was forgetting something, a bottle of castle soap.

Nope! DH and I have that many, too. For me: shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, salt scrub, face scrub. For DH: 2 shampoo, conditioner. For both: Cetaphil cleanser. I've also got my shave cream and a solid shampoo. DS has 3 in his tub - 2 different bath washes and a cradle cap shampoo.

Is it bad that I don't want to know?

There are at least 9 in our "guest bathroom" alone because that's where I've been showering since our master started triggering morning sickness. (Between the soapscum buildup and the bleach-based cleanser DH uses on it, I can't even have the door open while the room isn't in use! I will wake up in the middle of the night with a stomachache if DH forgets to close the door completely.)
