Need a barn where multiple kids can work with at once. Also, recommend your chew safe farm animals. I saw some animals online at Lakeshore Learning that were big but vinyl - don't want the little guys chewing on those!

I have read the previous thread about barns and people seemed to like the Plan one.

I guess that I am not sure what size you are looking for. We have the Schleich farm animals for our son. My husband is a dairy farmer and loves that they are so detailed and accurate. My son has had them since he was 6 months old. They are made out of very hard plastic. My son never really chewed on them, but I think they would hold up. We bought ours at Farm & Fleet. However, I think they also sell Schleich animals at Target.

We don't have a barn yet. But, I just went to Amazon and searched. It looks like there is a Melissa & Doug Fold & Go Barn (not mini) that might work for you. There is also a John Deere Big Wooden Barn that looks nice too.

I bought a knock off of this Breyer barn on EBay years ago and it's awesome. http://cgi.ebay.com/Breyer-Wood-Horse-Barn_W0QQitemZ290403644229QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_De faultDomain_0?hash=item439d67f345

You may want to consider this one from PBK:

It may not be as large as you want but it is a great price. $21.99 using 68 number trick and free shipping (was $39). I have it stashed away for DD2's 2nd birthday. I realize it says 3+ so it will be a closely supervised toy.

We have the M&D Fold and Go Barn and it's an ok size for 2 kids at a time. 3 might be pushing it. It comes with it's own animals but I'm not sure I'd be inclided to allow chewing. We have some Schleich animals as well- those seem safer to me.

We like the Holztiger animals - they're expensive but they're beautiful!

I DO NOT recommend this one:
http://www.yahoohomestore.com/pamararobaya.html

I found it at Tuesday Morning and thought it was cute. My girls hated it, none of the other kids who ever came over liked it. There is a big chute in the middle that made it hard to play with...

Just a warning in case you saw it somewhere and thought it was cute like we did!

Thanks guys. What's the 68 trick from PB? I love that barn? Even the regular price is lower than what I thought. Why didn't I find that one?

We have this barn for our horse-crazy girls. It is expensive but after buying a knock-off which couldn't even be assembled, I felt better buying something I knew would last. The girls play with it all the time, and it's large enough that they can play together during their moments of sibling harmony.

I bought it from an ebay seller during a 20% off promotion, so it's worth watching for a sale.
