To carry hot beverages. I'm such a sucker for tea (made my way). It will be great to have it on the go.

Contigo...stainless steel version goes right in dishwasher. No leaks when tossed in diaper bag. Expensive, but not unreasonable. There were some threads here on them about a month ago. Love mine!
