Why no black lining?

I don't have a baby yet so maybe it's something that will be obvious to me later, but this is never something I've paid attention to with previous handbags. Why does everyone seem to prefer a light-colored lining for their diaper bags?

It makes is easier to find things inside the bag if the lining is light.
