Uppababy Vista 2009

We have decided this is the stroller we are going to get after many hours of research. Any 209 Vista users out there to tell me I'm doing the right thing?!

i just bought one for $299 @ costco...maybe you can find a great deal like that! i've done a lot of reading/research and feel like it's a great pick.

I was thinking of Vista (it's my front runner for the full size stroller), but I would get 2010 model though. They've added the 4th position - fully upright, which was missing in the 2009 model. A lot of users of 2009 model complained about the lack of the fully upright mode apparently.

You can search this forum for 'Vista' in the title and see a bunch of threads, you will see people are very happy with this stroller. It does get great reviews pretty much everywhere, so I guess you can't go wrong. I think the main difference is that Vista 2010 has a bigger toddler seat in addition able to accommodate taller child, so overall, I would think Vista 2010 would last longer and then if your child does love to sit fully upright, you may be annoyed that you went with 2009 model.

Of course if the budget is the issue and great deals on 2009 make it worth it and 2010 is out of your budget then I think you cannot go wrong to go with 2009.

2010 model is so new you won't have too many reviewers who've used it with older kids to see if it's really worth it.

I love my 2009 Vista, but if I was purchasing right now I'd get the 2010 if the price difference is not too big, just for the more upright position, I think it's worth it.

It's also not the end of the world not having that 4th position, we've really enjoyed the 2009, DS loves it, he just pulls himself forward with the bumper bar when he wants to sit straight.

If it were a choice between $300 (if you can find it at that price) for the 2009 Vista or $700 for the 2010, I would personally get the 2009. We have the 2009 and love it. I was worried about it not going fully upright, but so far it hasn't seemed to be an issue at all. Although LO is only 7 months, so maybe that will change. I'm jealous some people are getting the 2009 for so cheap right now!

For a really great price, yes, get the 2009. That said, I wish I had the 2010 instead. I would sell the 2009 and upgrade to the 2010 if I didn't need to get a double stroller now.

Well we ended up getting the 2009 as budget is an issue for us. Got it for $499 on albee baby and got the adaptor and car seat there too. To us the additional features listed for the 2010 didn't seem to warrant the extra $200 but I guess we'll see as time goes on!
